Elk County receipts and expenditures for the year ending January 1st 1865 included several tax bills that had not yet been turned in by tax collectors, including $132.79 from Charles Winslow for 1864 and $17.57 from Ralph Johnston for 1863. An amount of $851.80 was still due from William Jonson [sic - Johnson] of Benezette, the collector of the Bou___ [original newspaper was ripped and could not be read] for 1864.
