Philadelphia & Erie Railroad. This great line traverses the Northern and Northwest counties of Pennsylvania to the city of Erie on Lake Erie. It has been leased by the Pennsylvania Rail Road Company and under their auspices is being rapidly opened throughout its entire length. It is now in use for Passenger and Freight business from Harrisburg to St. Marys (216 miles) on the Eastern Division, and from Wilcox to Erie (78 miles) on the Western Division.
