W. D. Johnson, the lumberman, has purchased the timber on the Sinnemahoning Iron Company’s lands on the south side of river from Emporium to Sterling Run and has commenced active operations on Canoe Run where he has already built a camp and placed about fifty men. Mr. Johnson will erect a mill near the timber. He’s a hustler, sure enough.
