Camp Briefs

The 303rd Co. is very sorry to lose Mr. R. E. Hansard, its musical instructor.

Sixty men from 303rd Co. answered the fire call which sounded at 4 pm Sunday, June 20th, 1937 [in Benezette]. When they arrived, the house was totally burned to the ground. Flames from the house had spread to a nearby church, and after a hard battle the men were able to save the church. The Glee Club and orchestra gave a benefit show for Mr. & Mrs. G. W. Sexton, whose home it was the men found totally burned.
